SneakBit — Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 2026-06-01

TLDR

Acceptance

SneakBit is a game developed by Federico Curzel (operating as Hidden Mugs), available on the web at sneakbit.curzel.it and on other platforms. By playing the web version, creating an account, or using the online features, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don't use these features. Read these Terms together with our Privacy Policy.

The web game

The web version of SneakBit is provided free of charge and is offered "as is", without warranty of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the game or its online services at any time. Certain features (online accounts, cloud saves, multiplayer) require an internet connection, and we are not responsible for the game not working at full functionality when you are offline. (SneakBit is also sold as a paid game on other platforms; purchases there are governed by those platforms' terms.)

Accounts

An account is optional and free. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity that happens under your account. Provide a valid email address so you can recover access. We may suspend or remove accounts that are used to abuse the service or other players. You can delete your account at any time from Menu → Account → Delete account; deletion is permanent and also removes your cloud save.

Cloud saves

Cloud saves are a convenience to sync progress across devices. When the same account is used on more than one device, the most recently updated save wins, which means an older save may be overwritten. We make reasonable efforts to keep cloud saves available but do not guarantee against loss or corruption — treat them as a convenience, not a guaranteed backup.

Acceptable use

When using the game and its online features, you agree not to:

We may rate-limit, suspend, or block access to protect the service and its players.

Intellectual property

SneakBit, its name, artwork, audio, and other content are the property of their respective creators (see the in-game Credits) and the developer. You may play the game, but you may not copy, resell, or create derivative versions of the game or its assets except where an open-source license in the project's repository explicitly permits it; in that case the license in the repository governs.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the game and its online services are provided without warranty, and the developer is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the game, including lost progress, downtime, or data charges from your network provider. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, in which case those limitations apply only to the extent permitted.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date; continued use of the online features after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
